IDS 2911 Undergraduate Research
Credit Hours: 1-4
Prerequisites: Grade of "C" or higher in one or more classes within the research discipline or consent of instructor

In this course, under faculty direction, students will engage in discipline-specific research individually or in a student group. Students will complete at least 2 of the following tasks: identify a novel research question, analyze literature, design an experiment to test the question, acquire skills for experimentation, collect data, analyze data, and present findings. It is recommended that students take either BSCC 2910 or CHMC 2910 prior to taking this course. This course may be taken for maximum credit of 4 per semester and is repeatable for maximum credit of 6.
