MUSC 2360 Introduction to Music Technology

This course introduces students to electronic musical application through lecture and studio instruction with an emphasis on the Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) system, in conjunction with computers and digital audio. Topics include sequencing, home studio production, Internet audio, and computer-aided notation. A basic knowledge of musical notation and computer systems is recommended, but not required.
