This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of audio production within the context of radio, television, and interactive media. Students will capture, edit, and mix sound for various media formats, including audio created by text-to-speech applications (AI voices and LLM Voices).
RTVC 2251  Advanced Video Editing  
Credit Hours:   3  
Prerequisites: RTVC 1240 and RTV 1520 with a grade of “C” or higher  
The course focuses on advanced techniques for non-linear video editing. Students work with raw video, stock media assets, and motion effects to grab and hold the audience's attention. The course covers essential techniques such as animation, color correction, titling, video effects, transitions, and compositing. Artificial intelligence (AI) video generation will also be explored. Prior experience with basic video editing is recommended.
