This is a two-year associate in science degree program in Health Navigation. Health Navigators assist patients in gaining access to resources that contribute to treatment adherence and overall health improvement. Students graduating from this program will have the relevant skills and knowledge necessary for furthering their education in the Health Sciences. Communication, leadership, computer literacy, medical and legal ethics, and health and safety will be emphasized. General education courses should be completed prior to entry into the program. Completion of the Healthcare Navigator Specialist college-credit certificate may be used as an acceleration method in this program.
