This is a two-year associate in science degree program. The curriculum includes relevant general education courses, veterinary technology, and veterinary support courses. Students complete at least two years of academic study including clinical practice under the supervision of Eastern Florida faculty in the college's veterinary technology building and designated external clinical sites. General education courses and support courses may be completed prior to admission to the program or concurrently with program courses. Completion of all general education courses prior to program application will aid in obtaining bonus points toward program selection (details in program application packet).
After successful completion of the Veterinary Technology program and national boards, the graduate may apply for state certification in veterinary technology.
