Apply For Financial Aid
The process of applying for financial aid to attend college can be confusing at first but we want to make the process easier for you and your family. Eastern Florida State College (EFSC) provides the maximum financial aid available to qualified students to make attendance at EFSC possible.
Here's how it works:
- After a student files the FAFSA, the Federal Student Aid Program performs a needs analysis service that computes the Student Aid Index (SAI) towards education costs.
- EFSC then determines financial need based on the total cost of attendance (COA) at the college.
- EFSC deducts the SAI as determined by the FASFA from the COA to calculate financial need.
Financial aid policies are subject to change due to regulatory, legislative, or other reasons. All students are governed by the financial aid policies published on the college website. Visit the Financial Aid section of the website for detailed information about types of aid, plus how to apply, receive, and maintain student aid.
