The course provides a foundation for appreciation of the visual arts, through an introduction to selected global historical examples, the formal language of the visual arts, theoretical and critical perspectives, aesthetics, and a survey of contemporary arts with an emphasis on diversity. This course is a state-designated core course. This Diversity-Infused course meets General Education and College Level Communications Skills requirements.
