Admissions requirements:
Applicants to the Advanced Allied Health specialization must hold an A.S. degree in a health sciences field (i.e., Nursing, Dental Assisting or Hygiene, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Emergency Medical Services, Health Information Technology, Orthotics and Prosthetics, Healthcare Navigator, Medical Assistant, Medical Laboratory Technology, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiography, Respiratory Care, Surgical Technology, or Veterinary Technology). Students with an earned Associate in Arts degree with a strong health sciences focus (e.g., psychology, biology, or social work) will require a meeting with the Program Coordinator of the Advanced Allied Health Specialization prior to admission and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
