ANSC 3006  Introduction to Animal Science

Prerequisites: Departmental approval or admission to Bachelor's program required  
This course explores the role of production of animal species including poultry, bovine, porcine, equine, ovine and caprine in supporting the human population. It includes an introduction to the anatomy and physiology of digestion, growth, and reproduction and the genetics to livestock improvement.
