This course gives the student the opportunity to understand the relationship of theory to practice through participation in a service-learning experience. Students are required to complete 20 hours of volunteer work, a service-learning contract, and an oral and written reflection of the experience.

Prerequisites: Admission to the EFSC Honors Program  

This course gives the student the opportunity to understand the relationship of theory to practice through participation in a service-learning experience. Its partnership with a core class allows for customizable in-depth authentic application, investigation, and research in the chosen subject. Students are required to complete 20 hours of volunteer service, a service-learning contract, and a written and oral reflection of the experience.
